COMMUNITY SPEED WATCH

COMMUNITY SPEED WATCH

Good afternoon,

Do you want to help make your community safer?

We're looking for volunteers to join Community Speed Watch (CSW), a scheme that allows members of the public to become Police Volunteers and help tackle speeding in their local area.

Working in small teams, volunteers are trained to use approved speed detection equipment to monitor traffic and record vehicles that exceed the speed limit. The information gathered helps identify problem areas and educate drivers about the dangers of speeding.

What's expected of volunteers?

✅ Attend a short training session
✅ Volunteer a few hours each month
✅ Work as part of a team at approved roadside locations
✅ Record details of vehicles exceeding the speed limit
✅ Promote road safety and support your local community

No previous experience is necessary. If you're concerned about speeding where you live and would like to make a positive difference, we'd love to hear from you.

📞 Call Michelle or Mandy on 01785 232702 or Email CSW@staffordshire.police.uk

Together, we can help make our roads safer for everyone.
